Destinations / CyprusBook a cheap weekend to Cyprus >>>>>Sink into sparkling blue seas along sunny shores and explore the ancient remains of spectacular archaeological sites in the towns and cities of Cyprus. You'll see tradition and history, enjoy fabulous nightlife and relax in glorious sunshine. Choose from lively Limassol, cosmopolitan Paphos, or the party capital of Agia Napa! General information:Paphos, legendary birthplace of Aphrodite the Goddess of Love, is a charming harbour town with a great coastline. In the surrounding area you can visit mountain villages that remain unchanged over the years. In Paphos you can enjoy visiting a number of restaurants and bars in the colourful harbour. Or see the Tombs of the Kings and other archaeological museums and places of interest. Paphos boasts miles of golden sandy beach along the Coral Bay area. Between Larnaka and Paphos lies lively Limassol with a varied nightlife and vibrancy of tavernas and clubs. Enjoy the 10 miles of glorious beaches linked by a promenade. Wander round the narrow streets of the Old Town, or drive out to vineyards and quaint villages still producing wine. It's also great for shopping with a good selection of individually designed clothes, jewellery and gifts and suprisingly the shopping district within the center of Limassol is quite large. There is a rich cafe culture that makes it a perfect choice for a long stay or a quick getaway break. If partying is your thing then head to Agia Napa, the place that doesn't sleep! The central square area is renowned for its outdoor cafes, bars and nightclubs. During the day rest and recuperate on the golden sands of Nissi Beach or enjoy some of the many water sports on offer - even bungy jumping! In the winter it has a handful of restaurants and cafe bars offering relaxed surroundings where you can chill and lose track of time or simply choose to laze in the sun on a beach that almost changes face during the winter as the numbers are far less. Drum beats throbbing from bars during the summertime turns to chilled lounge music during the winter as people opt for a nightlife that offers a more relaxed vibe but is still very much alive.
