Book a cheap weekend to Ibiza >>>>>

For years, Ibiza was the European hippy escape, but today it is renowned for its intense nightlife. It has a lot more to offer though, with clear turquoise seas, white sandy beaches and pretty white-washed villages. Choose from the carefully selected Ibiza hotels below.

General information:

The smallest of the Balearic islands, Ibiza still remains largely untouched by tourism. For years, it was the European hippy escape, but today it is more renowned for its intense nightlife activity. It has a lot more to offer though, with clear turquoise seas, white sandy beaches and pretty white-washed villages.

Ibiza Town, surrounded by ancient walls, perches on a hillside overlooking the old port. The waterfront is lined with open-air cafes and its general atmosphere attracts the rich and trendy. Approximately 20 mins drive from the airport.

San Antonio, 20km north west of Ibiza Town, is the clubbing capital of Europe, with many bars, discos, clubs and party venues including Es Paradis, Eden and Cafe de Mar. Centred around a pedestrianised harbour area, watersports are widely available. Approximately 30 mins drive from the airport.

San Antonio Bay offers a more relaxed beach atmosphere. There is a good selection of bars, cafes and shops and is convenient for the party atmosphere of San Antonio as buses and ferries circle the bay. Approximately 30 mins drive from the airport.

Playa d'en Bossa, on the south east coast of the island, is built on a long, gently curving sandy beach fringed by shady palms, perfect for watersports, safe for children, and popular for its cleanliness. Quite close to the airport (10 mins drive) so some noise from flights may be heard. Good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and only 10 mins from Ibiza Town for more choice.

Talamanca, 2 km north of Ibiza Town, is a small resort area overlooking a secluded bay, one of the few beaches to offer relative peace and quiet. There is also a harbour area with a number of bars and restaurants.

Getting to your hotel:

By bus:

Ibiza's international airport is situated 6km southwest of Ibiza Town, and only 10 mins from Playa d'en Bossa. There is a regular bus from the airport to the town centre, operating between 7.30am and 10.30pm (1.10 Euro) or you can take a taxi for around 12 Euros.
For other resorts, there is a good bus service between Ibiza Town, San Antonio and a few of the larger beaches, but hiring a car will widen your options.
