Book a cheap weekend to Istanbul >>>>>

Straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul is home to some of the world's most important cultural heritage. Filled with magical bazaars, flea markets and historical sights. Choose from the carefully selected Istanbul hotels below.

Getting to your hotel:

By taxi:

We recommend you take a taxi (using the direct route along the seafront), but make sure they use the meter. The fare should be around £15.

Getting around:

Generally taxis are a cheap and effective way of getting around but ensure that the meter is running or agree a price in advance. Tram, buses and the very limited underground system are extremely cheap.

Shopping:

Shops are usually open from 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday, some closing at 1pm on Saturday. The main attraction is the Grand Bazaar, which is a maze of streets and alleyways containing 4000 shops and stalls. Please note that during the two important Muslim festivals, Ramadan and Kurban Baynami, many shops and restaurants are closed. Most museums and palaces are also closed on Monday.
