Our opinion:
Quite a unique hotel in Hamburg where most hotels are very traditional! On entering this very modern hotel, guests will feel immediately welcome and charmed by the decor of the reception, lively and original. The lobby is spacious with a large staircase in the middle and is divided into a reception desk, a cosy bar and a nice, intimate restaurant area. The bedrooms are modern and decorated with tasteful designer furniture, appliances and warm colours. This together with nice white bathrooms (mainly with shower) makes the rooms very attractive and homely. A good hotel, well located on Berliner Tor with good connections to the heart of the city.

Our opinion:
Very good value for money. All rooms are double glazed (as it can sometimes be noisy outside the hotel due to the location by a main road). Modern from the outside, once inside the overall feel and decor is traditional and homely. The bar is particularly welcoming and the real asset is the restaurant offering regional cuisine. Officially 4 star, we feel that the rooms are more of 3 star standard, as they are a little old fashioned but nevertheless comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The historic center can be reached easily enough by underground or bus with the underground station 10 mins. away, or by renting a bicycle at the hotel.

A nice hotel, well located to discover all the main attractions of Hamburg. It is situated in front of the main bus and train station, an area of Hamburg that is currently under development and feels safe and welcoming. The hotel is decorated in a classic and traditional way. The bedrooms offer a basic decor and facilities, but are nevertheless comfortable and quite spacious. The breakfast is taken in the restaurant next to the hotel. This nautical themed restaurant is very unusual, with a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Our opinion:
Splendid hotel combining high standard of service with good and extensive facilities. This large, high rise hotel is located in the heart of the city within walking distance to the Lake. The hotel boasts a health club with an indoor swimming pool, a restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and serving Polynesian/French food, and a nightclub with an amazing view over the city-definitely the place to be! The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped, traditionally decorated.
