Our opinion: This simple hotel is in a great location, just off Via Nazionale. Located in a traditional residential building, reception is on the 2nd floor, next to which there is a small lounge and breakfast room. Rooms are basic, in a modern style though generally in need of redecoration, but for those looking for a budget option in a central position this hotel could be a good choice. Intimate surroundings with friendly staff.

Our opinion: Centrally located just round the corner from Piazza Repubblica and 5 mins walk from the main station, this is a good base from which to explore Rome. Our opinion: Informal hotel located on the 4th and 5th floors of a 19th century building in the historic centre of Rome a few paces from Termini Station. The rooms and corridors have been recently decorated in bright colours with summery appeal. Unfussy accommodation with a relaxed ambience. Our opinion: Small and intimate with only 12 rooms, hotel Teti is an above average 2 star hotel, hence our superior rating. Totally renovated throughout offering simple but modern functional surroundings. The hotel is situated in a central position, only a few minutes walk from the mainstation. Air Conditioning at extra charge (13 Euros/day payable direct to hotel)and most of the rooms have Cable TV.

Our opinion: Located on the first floor of a residential building this small residence, run by 2 brothers who speak impeccable English, offers home-away-from-home surroundings. Officially a 3 star, this is a comfortable no-frills hotel. Quad rooms available.

Our opinion: Good quality hotel for its star rating, a small establishment with well-maintained rooms. Reception and rooms are located on the 4th floor of a residential building with a roof top terrace where breakfast is served in the summer. The rooms are fairly spacious for Roman standards given the history of the hotel, and the bathrooms have been modernised. Great location in the historic centre of Rome, just off Via Nazionale.

Our opinion: An unrivalled location right in the heart of the of the Old Town, and an easy walk to Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps. A traditional building housed within original walls of a 15th century palace, with high ceilings, beams etc. Simply furnished, but clean and comfortable. HotelConnect clients are guaranteed the recently refurbished rooms. A bit more expensive than your average 3 star hotel, but there are not many hotels in this location. This small hotel offers an intimate and cosy atmosphere and a high standard of accommodation for a hotel of its category, though some rooms are on the small side. Good bustling location near the Basilica of S. Maria Maggiore and within walking distance of the Colosseum.

Our opinion: This homely hotel has 40 rooms on 3 floors of a residential building. The hotel has recently been upgraded from 2 star to 3 star category following an ongoing renovation of the rooms. The rooms are well maintained, decorated in varying styles, some with murals or fresco ceilings, and all with modern bathrooms. Well located, a couple of minutes to the quieter side of Termini station, hence an easy walk to Rome's historical centre.

Our opinion: Traditional hotel with old antique furnishings, in a convenient location in Rome's historic centre within easy walking distance of most attractions. Rooms are simple and old fashioned but quite spacious for Rome standards owing to the historic palazzo in which the hotel is located. Our opinion: Located in the heart of Rome, just by Santa Maria Maggiore, Rome's famous Basilica, and within easy walking distance of Via Veneto, and the Colosseum. Our opinion: This hotel offers comfortable accommodation in spacious rooms, which vary in style - some more traditional than others. All areas are well maintained, including the bedrooms, each of which has a balcony. The hotel also has the benefit of a pleasant garden area. The location is ideal for those arriving into Ciampino airport, especially as the hotel also provides airport pick- ups on request (to be arranged with hotel in advance), and also has car parking.
Within 20 minutes walk: The hotel is located in a residential & business area so there is little in walking distance, however they offer a free pick up & drop off service from the nearest tube at the beginning and end of the day, as it is not possible to reach the station on foot.

Our opinion: A modern hotel in a quiet residential area on the west side of the Vatican, the hotel is just 3 metro stops from the Vatican itself and just a 10 minute ride to the Spanish Steps. Rooms and public areas are decorated in a simple, classic style and have been recently refurbished. The hotel prides itself on offering comfort and value and is ideal for those looking to stay within easy reach of the centre but out of the hustle and bustle of central Rome. It is also convenient for those arriving by car as from its location there is easy access to the ring road and motorway exits.

Our opinion: Villa style hotel located in a picturesque residential quarter of Rome called Monte Sacro, often referred to as the 'garden city'. Although a few miles from the historic centre, there are good transport links - a variety of buses depart frequently from Piazza Sempione, 150m from the hotel, to take visitors to various city centre destinations (Bus number 90 goes directly from station to the bus stop near the hotel). The rooms are in a minimalist modern style with white walls and parquet floors. The hotel is well presented and offers a good friendly service. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the town centre (departs hotel at 10.30 and picks up in town centre at 18.30). They can also organise airport pick-ups (at extra cost).
